National Girl Me Too Day

National Girl Me Too Day is a holiday that’s observed every year on April 7th and celebrates the resilience, strength, and endurance of girls and women of all ages. It’s also a day on which girls and women are encouraged to show each other support.

Many girls and women have had to overcome huge challenges, and they can help other women get through their own struggles by simply sharing their stories and providing them with the support that they need. It’s a day on which women are encouraged to break down the artificial barriers that supposedly divide them and instead focus on the one thing that unites all of them: their womanhood.

The History Of Girl Me Too Day

Girl Me Too Day was created by Symonia Montgomery-the creator of the Girl, Me Too Movement. She created this day in 2017 to encourage women to show each other support. It was envisioned as a day for women to cultivate healthy relationships with each other and to look at life through each other’s eyes. It’s a day in which the pain of the past can be healed, all while the tools needed to tackle the future are cultivated.

Observing National Girl Me Too Day

National Girl Me Too Day should be observed by all girls and women. This day can be observed by women by taking a few moments out of their day to give encouragement to a woman outside of their social circle.

It’s also a day to lend a woman you know a friendly ear. Women can also celebrate this holiday by using the hashtag #GirlMeToo on their social media accounts. That way, women from all over the world can come together to give each other support, encouragement, and above all, respect.
